Ext. Update! Directory Navigation in Open File Dialog

ChromeOS FileManager+ just got an update!

Open in Terminal

To open currect directory in Terminal, use Ctrl+Shift+T.

This is actually the keyboard shortcut to reopen previously closed Chrome tab. At least for me, I rarely use that key combination when browsing My Files, and it's easier to remember than the previous one.

Directory Navigation in Open File Dialog

Press BrowserForward key to navigate into selected directory in open file dialog.

I use vscode.dev for coding in ChromeOS. When opening a workspace directory, the Enter key is used to open selected directory in the app. It's kinda cumbersome to have to double-click the folder to navigate into it. Now we have a dedicated key for it.
