I'd like to show you a feature of DailyHeroes, the elapsed time display.

In the below image, it shows that I've spent ~10 minutes in total for Blogging, with the current running session being 5 minutes.

What this means is that, whenever I continue the blogging session, what's displayed on the screen is the running session, not the total elapsed time.

Interestingly, I felt less pressured if what's displayed on the screen is just that particular focus session instead of the total elapsed time. In a way, it's the same as starting a new stopwatch for every sub-task while tracking the entire activity at the same time.

I've heard that it's good to breakdown large tasks into smaller chunks. But I've never thought that starting a new stopwatch for each sub-task would actually make doing the work less daunting!
